REALMS OF RAIDHO™

Life In Relationship
My work started out focused on dogs' issues.
The value of that work and the transformations my clients experienced were undeniably profound.
Yet something felt out of sync in my approach, and it gnawed at me. Despite the testimonials and success, my days ended frequently in a state of unfulfilled exhaustion.
When I realized my fatigue rooted in the effort that it took throwing different modalities at "dog problems", it was no wonder.
I had been trying to create better relationships through fixing one side. The dog side.
I thought that's what helping looked like.
Turns out the dog was never a problem to fix. And neither was the human.
Zam was the queen.
Stoic and steady. Zam loved fully without asking for anything in return, and though she appeared disinterested, she saw everything.
Together we witnessed life unfolding and our relationship became ripe with wisdom.
Together we discovered that loving someone's approval mean loving someone's criticism in equal measure.
Compliment and critique are complementary designs. Without knowing one, it's difficult to meet the other.
Her understated strength combined with my empathy made for a beautiful and natural transition when the time arrived.
Zam stayed long enough to see "The End" typed on my first novel manuscript, transitioning a few days later.

Jango is the unruly one. Extra in every way.
The most loving, the most ornery, the most completely himself at all times. This guy knows what he wants, and he will go to great lengths to get what he wants, every single time.
Together we discovered what it means to live genuinely inside each moment and to fight for what we believe in.
Jango demonstrates what it means to live fully in ones values, and to not give a shit what others think.
He often reminds me of his first message to me: Simplify the process.
(I'm a work-in-progress on this last one)
Our biggest discovery: Life happens in the wilderness. Stay long enough and collect the fossils of wisdom along the way.
(He LOVES his bones!)
Zorii is my spiritual assistant.
Her approach to life is full throttle, every day, and despite her roaring engine, she's ultra sensitive to the world around her.
She has great softness to her personality with a distaste for aggressive behavior (unless she's chewing on Jango's neck)
Zorii is connected to something more expansive than her physical body. Her persistent communication with me is one of the main reasons I love this work.
Together we discovered animal communication, energy, and intuitive skills (among other things). I've learned more from our time together than any textbook could teach.
As a ten-week-old puppy, she spoke so clearly that I could no longer deny our ability to communicate through wordless, intuitive senses. I've been an insatiable student ever since.
We also discovered the importance of playfulness. When work becomes play, joy is the natural result.

Biggs. The confident one.
The most loving, the most confident, and the most social. This guy wanted nothing more than to get to know everyone who crossed his path. Any species, any time.
Watching Biggs adjust his play style for the dog he interacted with was pure bliss. He put an end to a heated dog-dog debates with a simple glance.
Silence was his greatest gift.
Together we discovered what it means to bring joy to the day-to-day and how to meet others where they are along the journey.
Biggs loved nothing more than to empower others. People terrified of dogs opened themselves to a new perspective once Biggs held space for them to experience a dog's love.
He was the social committee chair every time we hosted an event, making sure guests had everything they needed. He even offered to taste test the food.
Our biggest discovery: Every day we can touch someone's life with love and spread those ripples.
They were never "just" dogs.

I'm the founder and steward of
REALMS OF RAIDHO™
I'm your guide when we hit the road, widen our view and discover the patterns and behaviors hiding in the landscape behind our single-threaded stories that often leave out one of the main characters entirely.
I'm not here to fix your dog.
Gosh, I'm not here to fix you either.
Curiosity gives us an entry point. Awareness alerts us to patterns and long-standing beliefs. Honesty is our wayfinder, and when we stay long enough to collect the wisdom we find along the way.
These pieces some together, revealing new information and new choices. You choose how you wish to participate.
It is a challenge to reach our greatest potential with our dogs if we don't include their point of view in the daily process.
I'm an embodiment of what I teach. If I can't walk the talk then what's the point? I share experiences, stories, and wisdom that I've learned from my own time on the road.
Life isn't a problem to solve. It doesn't come with an instruction manual. It's an extraordinary journey that we incarnated to experience.
I can't wait to journey together.

"Working with Kim was an absolute game-changer for our family. We were feeling lost, unsure how to handle his reactions to bigger dogs.
Kim showed us that the answer was something entirely different, and it just clicked the moment we understood it."
"This is not just a story.
It is a living connection, a way for our animals to carry on their adventures with us long after they have crossed over.
Some stories stay alive and keep speaking long after the last page has been turned."
Listen. Reflect. Welcome in what arrives.
